Heat Repelling & Pristine

White is definitely the easiest color to wear on an extremely hot and sunny day, like today promises to be. White reflects solar radiation, allowing you to stay cooler and look pristine. This young woman sports a white linen maxi skirt with a thigh-high slit, which reveals her metallic gold sneakers. Tucked into the skirt’s drawstring waistband is a white burnout tee with a white textured design. The all white ensemble, including her sunglasses, provides a crisp background from which her blue and teal shoulder bag can stand out.

Fashion Forward Business Woman

This young woman has a new, fashion forward take on business casual dress. She incorporates a colorblocking scheme using muted colors to help maintain unity within the outfit. Her forest green, ankle length pants are cuffed above a pair of nude, high-heeled sandals. Her sheer mauve, button down blouse is embellished by a faint, yet detailed, python print, over which is a navy blazer with puff shoulders. She has pushed up the blazer’s sleeves to her elbow, allowing the blouse sleeves to show through the forearm. The wooden necklace adds a bit of unconventional design to the outfit, yet matches her sandals perfectly.

Summer Style Cowl Neck

This young lady must really love Diane Von Furstenberg; her dress and bag both come from the designer. The blue Rachel Print Dress has a low swooping cowl neck and a bold pairing of colors. The neutral coloring of the python Sporty Drew Tote helps it to stand out against the colors of the dress, while the hot pink shoulder strap accentuates the red pattern. The gold wedge sandals are a simple accent, perfect for the upcoming summer months.

Comfort, Meet Style

This young woman is enjoying the day with a little shopping on New York’s Fifth Avenue. Her stressed skinny jeans are rolled up above the ankle, leaving a sliver of skin between them and the blue Isabel Marant sneakers. Her beige sweatshirt is decorated with sections of open knits, separated by a solid strip across the bust. This is certainly a great look, remaining stylish, while dressing in comfort.

SoHo Siren

This is another simple color scheme that works so well. The black maxi skirt, with white polka dots and thigh-high slit, looks very chic when paired with those grey ankle booties. The black, spaghetti strap tank, goes great with the skirt and the beaded necklace traces the scoop neckline perfectly. The charcoal fedora has its brim rolled up, making sure everyone can see her striking lip color.

Cosmetic Touches

While this outfit is stylish, it is the cosmetic touches that make this young lady really something to look at. The marble bleached skinny jeans are fitted over the top of beige gladiator sandals adorned with metallic studs. The white linen button down, with its sleeves rolled up, is a lightweight item, perfect for the upcoming heat waves. The black tank underneath adds a nice bit of contrast. The matching bold orange manicure and pedicure add a great deal of color, but are overshadowed by the bold fuchsia lipstick, which steals the show.

Flirtatious Neutrality

This is a very flirtatious outfit. Her pairing of the black crop sweater and nude chiffon skorts, shows off a sliver of midriff and a whole lot of leg. The black over the knee socks and sheer stockings give some cover to her legs, while remaining flirty and confident. The black tanker boots, with large cuffs around the tops are a downtown accent to this outfit, contrasted by the gaudy large gold chain around her neck. The chain pops against the black sweater and goes well with the gold of the purse strap. The red purse adds a little color to an otherwise neutral outfit, just enough to remain a subtle pop.

Sheer Black Blonde

This tall, slender blonde walks confidently through the streets of NoHo. Her eyes glued to the screen of her phone, and her body draped in all black. She sports a black, sheer, button up dress, that is held around her waist with a skinny black belt. The dress is left unbuttoned at the bottom, revealing a stretchy, black mini skirt underneath it. Her black bra, keeps the motif alive, and creates a flirty look, without being too exposed. The black tri-strap ankle booties are adorned with brass pinhead studs, giving them a unique character in this all black outfit.

Young, Youthful & Lucky

It was a great Spring weekend in New York, and this young lady took full advantage of it. Her strapless Betsey Johnson dress, is adorned with small drawings of lucky charms. The dress has a fun, youthful cut, which is perfect for the upcoming Memorial Day Weekend. She paired the dress with black wingtip flats, creating a retro look. The simple gold necklace and charm is the perfect accessory to dress up the neckline without taking away from the dress. The two Mini Mouse style buns are very youthful and add to the fun look of the outfit.

 

Business Up Top, Party Down Below.

Something in this outfit doesn’t fit. The cardigan, v-neck shirt and pencil skirt all say “office attire,” but the low top Converse All-Stars say “street.” The pairing, however, does not look bad, which just goes to show the versatility of a black pair of Chucks. The canary yellow cardigan stands out from the black v-neck underneath it. The cross hatching design on the pencil skirt adds a great texture to this outfit. Im not positive, but I would not be surprised if she has a dressier pair of shoes in her bag that she switched out before leaving the office.
