Colorblocking With DVF

Diane Von Furstenberg has taken the colorblocking trend of the past seasons and incorporated it into her iconic line of dresses. The Aina dress is perfect for the fashion forward business woman. Its solid black body ends mid-thigh, long enough to be professional, short enough to be flirty. The grey stripe across the bust line is a buffer between the strong black and bold fuchsia shoulders and long sleeves. This young woman pairs this dress with a Louis Vuitton Bowler bag. The white color helps the bag stand out from the dress without taking away from the pop of the fuchsia.

This young lady has a very tough, yet feminine exterior. Her baggy jeans, adorned with holes and worn denim are rolled up just above the calf. Adding gold jewelry including a nameplate necklace and gold watch, as well as platform shoes, helps turn this bruiser into a style icon. The haircut tops off the look, walking the fine line between street punk and high fashion.

Why not add a neon pop to your outfit? This young lady shows you how. She wears a sleeveless neon blouse, buttoned to the top and left untucked. Below she wears a pair of short, black leather shorts, which compliment the bright neon coloring of the blouse. Her wedge sandals are airy and neutral, while giving her a few extra inches. The black shorts and bag help to frame the neon blouse, giving it a stronger, more controlled pop.

As the end of August quickly approaches, and the Summer heat begins to fade, you must take a page out of this young woman’s book and savor those rays while you still can. This young man has a carefree aura oozing out of him. From head to toe he is truly an individual. He sports a worn denim button up with the sleeves rolled up, atop a low hanging scoop neck tee. The cropped, patchwork pants have a wandering seam and are filled with both color and texture. On his feet is a pair of intricately woven loafers that somehow fit in with the rest of the eclectic ensemble. The gold nose ring goes perfectly with his gold necklace, watch and bracelets, while still playing off his plethora of tattoos. The undercut hairstyle, with its dreaded top finishes off the look, and reveals an otherwise hidden tattoo.

A Sunny Disposition To Brighten Up Your Day

Mondays don’t have to be a terror, but incase yours is here is a beautiful smile to brighten up your day. This sunny young lady couldn’t help but smile when she caught me taking her picture. Her white tank has an incredible amount of texture from the mesh straps and trim to the chandelier design throughout the bodice. She chose a pair of black leggings to accompany this white beauty, and they do the job perfectly. Her patriotic bandana keeps her flowing blonde locks out of her eyes, while adding a quaint pop of color to the ensemble.

I love the detail on this young lady’s halter top. The ying yang like design of the black and white with the contrasting anchor is great, but the rope tie sting is the kicker. Her beige skirt is a good neutral color and her platform sneakers are straight out of Spice World. The teal sunglasses are a unique accessory that adds a nice pop of color.
