Blowin’ In The Wind

I loved this outfit when I spotted it. I was hoping that when the pictures were uploaded it would look as good as it did in person. This young lady put together two distinct styles, on bottom the gypsy and on top the business woman, yet they end up working so well together. The skirt is of course my favorite part of this outfit, simply for the way it caught the passing breezes and remained suspended in the air with a life of its own. The pink color and lightweight fabric, as well as the double slits make this skirt a rare gem. The navy blazer above it adds a nice contrast, making the skirt appear more elegant than it would normally be, yet the low cut blouse underneath the blazer paired with the twists in her hair retain some youthfulness in this ensemble.

The Green Jeans

The contrast between the green skinny jeans and white button down really makes this outfit work. Both items are crisp and clean, solid colors, which makes them standout, distinctly, from one another. The extremely clean, white Puma sneakers are a great addition, flanking the green jeans from both sides. The Louis Vuitton messenger bag goes well with the clean look of this outfit and is a very stylish and convenient way in which to carry one’s belongings.

For That Day Party…

One cannot deny the abundance of color in this young lady’s dress, it is simply eye-catching. Her light skin helps the extremely colorful floral pattern pop with a greater enthusiasm. The purple wrap adds a solid coloring to the dress and goes well with its purple peddles scattered throughout the pattern. The brown cowboy boots are a nice southern touch, and help to make this a fun outfit, perfect for those Spring and Summer day parties.

Flirtatious Neutrality

This is a very flirtatious outfit. Her pairing of the black crop sweater and nude chiffon skorts, shows off a sliver of midriff and a whole lot of leg. The black over the knee socks and sheer stockings give some cover to her legs, while remaining flirty and confident. The black tanker boots, with large cuffs around the tops are a downtown accent to this outfit, contrasted by the gaudy large gold chain around her neck. The chain pops against the black sweater and goes well with the gold of the purse strap. The red purse adds a little color to an otherwise neutral outfit, just enough to remain a subtle pop.

Black As An Accent

When wearing such an extremely domineering color as yellow, it is a good idea to accessorize with more neutral colors. This sleeveless, yellow dress with short placket and color is accentuated with black designs, which this young lady complimented perfectly with her black ankle booties, high socks, and sweater. The yellow pineapple bag matches the dress well, and adds a bit of lighthearted style to the outfit.

Sheer Black Blonde

This tall, slender blonde walks confidently through the streets of NoHo. Her eyes glued to the screen of her phone, and her body draped in all black. She sports a black, sheer, button up dress, that is held around her waist with a skinny black belt. The dress is left unbuttoned at the bottom, revealing a stretchy, black mini skirt underneath it. Her black bra, keeps the motif alive, and creates a flirty look, without being too exposed. The black tri-strap ankle booties are adorned with brass pinhead studs, giving them a unique character in this all black outfit.

Polka Dots & Pearls

This is a very busy outfit, with a 1940’s feel. The white head scarf with black polka dots, looks like something from Rosie the Riveter’s wardrobe. The horn rimmed sunglasses, pearl necklace, and black over shirt, with white polka dots, look like items from my grandmother’s closet (I am not saying that they do not look good, but that is just what comes to mind when i see them). These items are brought into the present with contemporary pieces such as the bracelets on her left arm, and the bold red jean shorts. The white lace blouse is a nice touch and lies somewhere between past and present.

Urban Overalls

While completely void of color, this outfit has a fun and flirty demeanor to it. The olive drab overalls are a stylish take on a classic. She wears them rolled at the bottoms with leopard print slip-ons. The lack of a shirt underneath, reveals a strapless black bra and a cluster of charms hanging from a couple of chains around her neck. The only touch of color comes from her orange nail polish, which give the outfit a bit of life. The messy hairdo is stylish, and goes with the relaxed “don’t care” feel of the ensemble.

Like A Fine Wine…

They say the older you get, the wiser you become; I guess the same goes for style as well. This woman may be high in years, but can be a standout in a group of 20-somethings any day of the week. Her style is more refined, but stylish just the same. The black, floppy brimmed sun visor sits underneath her wavy strawberry blonde locks, protecting her face from those damaging UV rays. The white button down shirt is finely pressed and the sleeves are perfectly cuffed creating a relaxed and more open feel. The thin scarf around her neck adds a little design to the plain white background, as well as a little touch of color. The olive drab, ankle length jeans, held up with a bold orange belt, leave enough room for her beige, wedge sandals to stand out. The pink pedicure adds youth and another pop of color to this outfit.

Glittering Gold

All that glitters in this outfit is gold. The beige boatneck sweater is adorned with gold sequins, and the lightweight yarn and the three quarter sleeves make this a great springtime sweater. The capri blue jeans are held up with a skinny brown belt with gold plates attached to it. The ankle bracelet, bangles, and rings, all in gold, keep the unified accent throughout the entire outfit. The bold red lipstick and big, dark sunglasses create a mature and charismatic appearance.
