Some Pops For That Little Sweater Dress

On a chilly, early spring day a sweater dress is a great way to keep warm and look good. This young lady wears a long sleeve sweater dress in a light brown earth tone. Underneath she wears a pair of black leggings hidden in knee high, dark brown riding boots. The black motorcycle jacket allows the skirt and cuffs of the sweater dress to show through, creating a nice layering effect.

Accessories are a great way to add color to an outfit. Neutral colors are an easy platform on which to add colorful pieces. The royal blue, jersey scarf and red shoulder bag are two bold colors, but work nicely together to add accents to a neutral outfit.

Multi-Purpose Sport Coat

The plaid sport coat was a big hit in the 1970’s; today it is back. This slim fitting sport coat is colorful yet refined, making it appropriate for many occasions. The solid blue vest and tie and white shirt are a great compliment to the busy plaid pattern. The relaxed straight leg jeans and brown shoes give the jacket a more casual context. The pink socks are a nice surprise of color.

Meanwhile, Outside of Saks…

I saw this woman standing outside of Saks Fifth Avenue. I really like the interplay of colors between the brown suede trench and the blue dress shirt underneath it. The python print bag is a a great statement piece, which does well with the trench and open toe pumps.

Leather Clad Biker Chic

These are great pants. You get the look of leather with the stretch of leggings, making them easy to get into and easy to wear. They are tucked into a pair of thick black wool socks, somewhat resembling 80's leg warmers. The boots have a biker chick feel, with their black leather, buckle strap, and chunky heel. The Jacket is reminiscent of a varsity jacket, but has a figure flattering tight, waist length cut. The black leather sleeves tie in to the rest of the outfit and are elongated by black sweatshirt material, same as the hood.

The Best Outfit Of The Weekend

I absolutely love this outfit. From the interplay of colors and patterns, to the skin left exposed, it certainly is a lot to take in, but well worth it. The high waisted, lace capri pants are amazing. They are cut at the right length, as to not interfere with the gold glitter covered shoes. The black floral tank, leaves a small sliver of midriff exposed and its low cut neck shows off a generous amount of skin, without being inappropriate. The black and white striped, wrap jacket adds an intense pattern to the outfit but works well with the other colors.

The golden accessories are a great addition to this outfit and go extremely well with the gold shoes. The medallion on its long chain, both in gold, is a great length when paired with the tank and jacket. The gold spiked bracelet adds a punk chic aspect to the outfit, while doubling as a weapon. The oversized sunglasses are a great way to keep her intentions and expressions shrouded in mystery.

The Old Tough Guy Look

There is something about a popped collar that gives off a cool and cocky appearance. Maybe it is its affiliation with Arthur "The Fonz" Fonzarelli and James Dean, that has created that reputation, but it still sticks to this day. This man popped his collar on his blue trench, and even though he is carrying a Toys "R" Us bag, he still looks tough (and stylish). Underneath his trench peaks a pink button down shirt. His straight leg jeans are crisp and cuffed at the bottom, leaving them to fall perfectly onto his brown leather shoes.

Blonde In Black On Broadway

The all black outfit was out in full force today. This lady apparently got the memo, but wanted to stray a little. Her black leggings are tucked into her black, slouch cowboy boots. Her handbag, other than its silver studs is made completely of black leather. However, we are able to catch a peak of her grey sweater, hidden beneath her fringed, black poncho. The black poncho does work well as a contrast, as her blonde hair cascades over her shoulders.

Look Like A Movie Star

To embrace a toned physique, a pair of skinny jeans with a waist-length motorcycle jacket, create a flattering silhouette. Tuck the skinny jeans into a pair of leather cowboy boots, the same color as the jacket, for a matching flare.

A Coach handbag, colorful scarf, big dark sunglasses, and a radiant smile, help to keep you being mistaken for a celebrity walking the streets.
